B. Jennifer Guard
JENNIFER GUARD developed an interest in botany while she was pursuing an English degree at Portland State University. While pursuing graduate studies at the University of Oregon, Jennifer was recruited and hired by a private engineering corporation to develop an environmental division. This gave Jennifer the opportunity in 1991 to found Wetland Specialties, an Oregon-based environmental consulting business that offers botanical, wetland and land planning services to municipal, industrial and private organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest. Jennifer is a natural resource specialist and a botanist who understands the need to regulate growth and development with careful natural resource planning.
