Rachel Conard
Born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin, Rachel Conard has been writing all her life. Her first grade teacher would let the other students “check out” her stories as if they were part of the library. And when she accompanied her father on fishing trips up north, she was more concerned about keeping her notebook dry than reeling in the 10-pound muskie her dad had caught. A graduate in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Rachel loves spending time with family and friends, eating good food, enjoying a smart cocktail and playing a few party games. Her previous work has been published in Milwaukee’s Shepherd’s Express, but her main goal in life has always been to publish a book. This is her first!
